Cancer Registrars, Hospitals, and Facilities

Hospitals and facilities are major contributors of cancer data across the country. In fact, the majority of new cancer cases reported to CCR each year (~85%) are reported by hospitals. Cancer registrars have a vital role in ensuring that hospitals and facilities report cancer cases in an accurate and timely manner.

CCR is at the forefront of helping hospitals and treatment facilities move from unstructured narrative reporting to structured data capture. With the help of real-time data linkage and consolidation of data, CCR aims to continue to streamline cancer reporting across California.
